About the role

Duties may include the following:

FTTC Activations:

Immediate work available for single person operators to perform FTTC Activations.

The scope of work is
  • Copper Cutting
  • DPU integration, installation and activations.
  • Copper Jointing and Install openable joints
  • Lead-in identification and validation
  • Testing of all installted equipments
Skills and experience

Other Qualifications
  • nbn enable card
  • Construction Industry white card
  • First Aid and CPR
  • Full NSW Driver’sLicence
  • Recent Police Clearance
  • enAble – Skill 1 Basic jumpering at the pillar and/or the node
  • enAble – Skill 2 Installing underground copper joint enclosure
  • enAble – Skill 3 Copper jointing
  • enAble – Skill 23 Premises Lead-In Identification and Validation {FTTC}
  • enAble – Skill 24 Perform Copper Intercept {FTTC}
  • enAble – Skill 30 DPU Installation, Integration and Swap-Out {FTTC – OMMA}
  • enAble – Skill 29 Undertake Fibre Hygiene Processes and Basic Testing (Training Pro vided) or enAble – Skill 9 Fibre Inspection and Cleaning
  • ·Open Cabling Licence
National Police Clearance Certificate(Must not be older than 6 months)

Working at Heights(course code RIIWHS204D)

Power awarenesscertificate (valid for 1 year) needs to contain all the below course codes:

  • UETTDRRF02B – Perform pole top rescue
  • UETTDRRF06B – Perform rescue from a live LV panel
  • UETTDRRF10B – Provide first aid in ESI environment
  • HLTAID001 – Provide CPR
  • UETTDREL14A – Working safely near live electrical apparatus
