About the role

Job Responsibilities include:

The scope of work is

• Planning and Design of FTTP, FTTN, FTTC, HFC,
• Proficient in the use of, Spatial Net, MapInfo, AutoCAD, Pathloss and Connect.
• Experience in initiating, designing and executing improvements to processes and systems in Telecommunications fixed network planning and design
• Thorough understanding of telecom network planning and design principles, nbn industry standards, installation and operational practices
• A very high technical aptitude. Able to pick up any new tool or software application.
• Proficient experience on nbn Projects
• Reviews designs for SAMs containing FTTC , FTTB and HFC
• Review of design deliverables after submission to nbn and ensure quality in design.
• Review of designs as per Telstra agreed checklist to ensure consistency in designs standards.
• Raise and escalate any defects in the design to design team and provide training accordingly.
• Coordination and follow-ups within design team on issues against specific designs
